Some people consider themselves trophy hunters and pride themselves on their literally thousands of achievements. Some people don’t care. But if a player would like some Platinum trophies on their accounts and are struggling to get them, here are some games that’ll make it real easy (along with some that are fairly easy and still extremely enjoyable).
Updated March 5, 2022 by Mark Sammut: Trophy hunting can be crushing. So many (great) games demand total commitment from players if they want to achieve that beautiful Platinum. Someone could pour hundreds of hours into Elden Ring and be nowhere close to earning all of its trophies. Still, permitting the journey is enjoyable, these Platinums can be worth the effort. That said, sometimes it can be nice to earn a trophy without having to jump through seemingly endless hoops. This article has been expanded to include a few more PS4 games with easy Platinum trophies.
19 Any Telltale Game
The Wolf Among Us as an example:

Telltale have released many games such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, etc. It’s been a rollercoaster with Telltale over the last couple of years, what with them shutting down and then announcing a comeback (and retaining The Wolf Among Us rights so that season 2 is on the way).
But regardless of all this, they’ve made some extremely enjoyable games and the trophies are usually easy to obtain since there’s no such thing as side quests. Players might need to play some of them a few times to gather all the trophies, but none of these titles should present a huge struggle as long as people take the time to explore every choice given to them.
18 Burly Men At Sea

A game set in Scandinavia, Burly Men at Sea is a cute little adventure game about some fishermen who come up against a bunch of mythological creatures. Players make choices that shape the entire story, much like other games, but the graphics are very simple and yet charming.
Like Telltale’s games, the trophies are very easy to gain and hard to miss, so it’s a good one to play through if someone is looking for some Platinums.
17 Mr. Massagy

Mr. Massagy is just plain weird, but the game is definitely easy to get a Platinum in. The player goes through a Tinder-like experience with several women and the goal is to unlock different massage settings for their controller. It’s not a particularly challenging time, but it can be a good laugh to play with friends and the Platinum trophy will be unlocked in no time.
16 Donut County

Donut County is an indie game with a really simple concept. The player controls a hole, which grows in size as you move it around to swallow objects.
Admittedly, the story isn’t super compelling. But if someone wants a game that’s a little mindless and that they don’t need to pay too much attention to, along with being awarded a nice Platinum trophy at the very end of it all, this is a good one to go for. And it’s admittedly very pretty.
15 My Name Is Mayo

This is purely a clicker game so, like the one above, My Name Is Mayo is a title that won’t take players very long to finish. In fact, most people pick up this game purely for the trophy. Still, if someone wants some brain stimulation that won’t require too much effort on their part, this is another good one to go for.
The sequel, My Name is Mayo 2, is more of the same, delivering the same amount of trophies that roughly require around an hour to fully unlock.
14 Until Dawn

Until Dawn is much longer than most of the games on this list, but it is a title that people should find pretty easy to get invested in. The only trophy that’s challenging is the one for keeping everyone alive. A horror story about a cabin in the mountains attacked by something, this group of friends has to survive… until dawn. The goal is to keep everyone alive, and there are various trophies unlocked for preserving the lives of certain people (such as all the women, all the men, etc.), and even one for killing everyone.

As long as players make sure to explore every area to find all the clues, this Platinum trophy is pretty easy to get. Why? Because when a player has done the game once, they can replay each chapter rather than having to go through the whole thing again.
13 Lara Croft & Hitman GO

A couple of turn-based puzzle games, Lara Croft GO and Hitman GO were originally released on mobile before later being ported to the PS4. Along with being pretty decent games, these two are also prime options for Platinum trophy hunters. If someone struggles with any aspect of these, it’s easy to cheat and look up a walkthrough which makes the Platinum trophy almost ridiculously easy to get.
12 Life Is Strange

Life is Strange is a pretty long game since it goes by seasons and chapters. However, much like Until Dawn, it’s easy to get the trophies because players don’t have to go super out of their way for any and none are particularly difficult.
The concept of the game is rewinding time and making different choices to affect the present and future. In itself, this is a pretty fascinating concept and Life is Strange is one of those games that people can get utterly lost in. Players will have the Platinum before they know it.
11 Goat Simulator

Goat Simulator may not have a story as engaging or beautiful as Life is Strange, but it’s sort of charming in its own way. Players control a goat and go around causing chaos, as goats tend to do!
It can be a bit of a cathartic one to play after a long day at work when your brain isn’t functioning well enough for any challenges. If you play for long enough, the Platinum trophy is seriously not a challenge.
10 Theme Park Simulator

Theme Park Simulator sounds a lot more fun than it actually is. Those expecting a Rollercoaster Tycoon type of experience will be left bitterly disappointed. Those looking for an easy Platinum trophy, however, have definitely come to the right theme park.

In order to unlock the game’s Platinum trophy, players will need to watch each of the park’s attractions for five minutes. This basically entails doing absolutely nothing. It’s possible to play around with the camera and change the time of day, but most will likely set their controller down and do something else until five minutes have passed. There are 11 attractions in total, so with setup time, it’ll take around 1 hour for the Platinum to pop.
9 Round Invaders

Boasting one of the highest completion rates on PSNProfiles, Round Invaders is the type of game that seemingly exists specifically to boost somebody’s Platinum trophy count. The PlayStation Store has plenty of cheap titles that require only the bare minimum to unlock all their trophies, and Round Invaders serves as a prime example of such a release.
An arcade shooter that encircles players with enemies, Round Invaders delivers the exact experience advertised by its title. Just play the game for an hour and, more often than not, the Platinum will be rewarded.
8 Brotherhood United

Brotherhood United is one of the easiest Platinum trophies available on PSN. Unlocking all of the trophies will take players somewhere between 30 and 40 minutes. While it’s not quite a walk in the park in terms of difficulty, it’s certainly not going to trouble too many players either.
To obtain all the trophies, players just have to play through the game until certain cumulative targets have been met. These include killing a certain number of enemies, saving a certain number of hostages, and things like that. There are a few specific trophies like completing a stage without dying or using grenades, but these aren’t too difficult to accomplish after a bit of practice.
7 112th Seed

Once in a while, it is not to just complete something simple. 112th Seed doesn’t complicate matters for trophy hunters; looking to earn the Platinum? Then just complete the first 30 levels. It is that straightforward.

As an added bonus, 112th Seed also happens to be a pretty fun 2D puzzle platformer. As the titular seed, players must sprout plants that can serve as platforms and make their way through quick but rather engaging levels. There are much worse ways to spend an hour.
6 Reed

A remaster of a mobile game, Reed is a puzzle platformer where the focus is to direct the titular cat towards cubes while avoiding a chicken. Consisting of short levels that can be completed within minutes, Reed is made for short play sessions, and the game is pretty decent for what it is trying to be.
Outside a few unlocks for finding the four secret areas, Reed’s trophies are mostly just tied to standard achievements, so the majority of players should earn them during a normal playthrough.
5 Pretty Girls Breakers!

Released on March 3, 2022, Pretty Girls Breakers! is an arcade block-breaker title featuring more than 20 stages. Nearly everyone has played this style of game at one point or another, and for trophy hunters who find these titles relaxing, Pretty Girls Breakers! is a decent option that should also net them a Platinum quite quickly.
The trophies are very straightforward: simply clear the first three stages of five characters (Aoi, Nazuna, Sumire, Tsubaki, and Sherira). Once those are unlocked, the Platinum will follow.
4 A Day Without Me

A short puzzle horror game by Gamecom Team, A Day Without Me drops players into a deserted town and tells them to investigate. Nuggets of information are presented throughout the campaign, although the story can be somewhat difficult to piece together.

Overall, A Day Without Me shouldn’t take more than an hour or two to complete, and getting the Platinum generally just requires completing the story. The puzzles are also quite easy, so the game should not provide too much challenge beyond the occasional unclear objective.
3 Storm Boy

Storm Boy is a very basic collection of minigames based on a children’s book of the same name from the 1960s. Despite its low price, it’s actually a decent game. In fact, some will likely find its visuals to be charming. Maybe. It certainly seems like a lot of love went into making the game although perhaps not quite as much time. On the subject of time, those looking for an easy Platinum can expect to spend 30 minutes or so playing Storm Boy.
First, players will need to play each of the game’s minigames. It’s possible to get the trophy by quitting out as soon as the criteria have been met, but they’re so short there’s almost no point. After playing every game at least once, they’ll then need to be played a second time through the ‘remember’ submenu accessed from the game’s main menu. Once again, quitting out after a few seconds won’t prevent the Platinum trophy from popping so the option remains for anybody just wanting to get their trophy and move on.
2 FoxyLand

FoxyLand was released towards the end of 2019 and seems to exist primarily to provide a quick and easy Platinum trophy. There’s very little skill required in order to unlock all of the game’s trophies and it can be accomplished in around 20 minutes.
Looking at the trophy requirements may make the prospect of obtaining the Platinum seem more daunting than it actually is. Except for the one obtained by purchasing an item from the game’s shop though, all the trophies will pop at some point during a playthrough. FoxyLand is an incredibly short and easy game and players don’t actually need to reach the very end in order for the Platinum trophy to pop. FoxyLand 2 follows the same formula.
1 Slyde

Slyde is a puzzle game developed and published by Top Rated Design. It’ll set players back a little over a dollar and has sold around 150,000 copies. Looking at the game in action, that might come as something of a surprise, but a quick glance at the game’s PSN Profiles page explains everything – almost every owner of Slyde has the Platinum.
In order to unlock it, players will need to score at least 800 points on a medium or hard difficulty puzzle. Even without a guide, this is a fairly simple task that can be done in a couple of tries. When using a walkthrough, however, it’s possible to complete the puzzle in around 15 seconds - making this both the easiest and fastest Platinum trophy that players will ever legitimately earn.
