The under-fire QB finished 33 of 45 for 256 yards, a touchdown and four turnovers – two interceptions and two lost fumbles – to headline Philadelphia’s woes. Wentz, who has overcome a bruised right hand ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Miami Dolphins, understands how the team’s supporters are feeling....

According to a story published by the Guardian on Friday, Hales’ recent absence for Nottinghamshire is due to a 21-day ban for falling foul of the ECB’s drug policy. Nottinghamshire had cited “personal reasons” for the England batsman not featuring at the start of their Royal London Cup campaign. Asked by Omnisport about Hales’ situation, the ECB said in a statement: “We have a duty of confidentiality, therefore we are unable to provide any further comment....

Ajayi was traded to Philadelphia from the Miami Dolphins midway through the 2017 season and helped the Eagles beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. Apart from the Phillies’ 2008 World Series victory, the city had not had a major championship victory to celebrate since the early 1980s so Ajayi and his team-mates received a hero’s welcome when they were back in town. Philadelphia won’t officially announce Pederson’s hiring until the Chiefs are eliminated from the playoffs, but an Eagles spokesman said Thursday that the team has “concluded our search for a head coach. No further interviews are scheduled.” Kansas City plays New England on Saturday in the AFC divisional round. Pederson,47, has served as Kansas City’s offensive coordinator since 2013, working under former Eagles coach Andy Reid. During that time, he’s helped Alex Smith become one of the NFL’s most consistent starting quarterbacks....

According to ESPN, the fight stemmed from a missed assignment by Thomas and carried over to the sideline, where teammates and coaches needed to restrain the two players; Thomas, who reportedly raised his fists in the altercation, did not appear at Saturday’s practice, though Clark was present. Thomas posted a video of the incident on his Instagram account Saturday afternoon. “Being sent home sucks,” Thomas wrote. “I can’t take the reps I need to keep momentum going....

Dale Earnhardt Jr. topped 215 mph during a test Wednesday morning at Michigan International Speedway, one of NASCAR’s fastest tracks. Track president Roger Curtis tweeted about Earnhardt's fast speed, saying "@DaleJr hits 215mph. @MISpeedway [email protected] test." Joey Logano set the track qualifying record at 2-mile Michigan last year at 203.949 mph with NASCAR’s new Gen-6 Sprint Cup car. The issue arose after I-League champions Minerva Punjab FC’s owner Ranjit Bajaj revealed on social media back in January that two of his players were contacted for match-fixing. Later in March, Bajaj further mentioned that five more players and head coach Khogen Singh were also approached. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) handed over the match-fixing investigation to the CBI last month. According to various reports, the CBI had summoned former East Bengal player Alvito D’Cunha and assistant coach Abdul Siddiqui who it was alleged had called up Khogen Singh and offered him a role at East Bengal if his team underperformed....
